Blog 5:

 Hi everyone!

Today I'm going to talk about my

future jobs.

First of all, I would like to mention that this is a very hard issue for me, because I am interested in many areas of my career (psychology) in which I would very much like to be able to work in the future.

Second, despite the different areas that interest me, I have always thought that I would like to develop my work around a specific sector of the population, such as children and adolescents, with special emphasis on those who have been violated on their rights.

However, the psychology have multiple areas of action, but the ones that interest me the most are community, clinical and legal. In this sense, at the end of the degree, I would like to be able to work with children and young people belonging to SENAME, trying to articulate these three areas, focusing mainly on the resignification of their experiences, their childhood and their feelings about the life. In the same way, work on the construction of safe spaces for children and young people, considering the importance of such spaces for their optimal development. Also, I would like to carry out interventions in vulnerable communities, where there are high rates of violence, in order to work in relation to the importance of the protection of children, of security within their own environments, in order to act in relation to the prevention. Finally, I would like to be part, through my work, of the creation of public policies in relation to the care of minors who have been violated in their rights, reformulating the entire childcare system.

I believe that childhood and adolescence are fundamental stages, therefore, working to protect them, for me, is essential.

That's all for today friends, thank you very much for reading me!
